Tri-Valley
Corporation is a publicly traded oil, gas, and
mineral exploration and production
company. It also has subsidiaries with
production rigs to service its wells, and a drilling
company to drill new wells. As a deep drilling
specialist, Tri-Valley holds the North American record
for the longest, fastest single bit run (10,045 feet in
116 hours on its 19,085 foot Ekho No. 1 deep
well in the year 2000). The company is
engaged in the exploration and development of oil,
natural gas, and minerals primarily in California,
Nevada, and Alaska. Tri-Valley derives the greater part
of its revenue from oil and gas drilling and production.

Corporation was incorporated in Delaware on September
27, 1971, and successfully taken public on January 6,
1972. Tri-Valley Corporation is listed on the American
Stock Exchange (AMEX) under the ticker symbol TIV. It is
owned by approximately 5,000 shareholders worldwide. Our
investors hold approximately 24,710,000 shares of
common stock issued and outstanding from an authority of
100 million.
There
are six outside directors on Tri-Valley’s
seven-person board. The Company’s headquarters,
operations, administrative offices and those of its
subsidiaries, are all located in Bakersfield,
